Private Charters
March – April from Everett Marina
May – December from Anacortes

The 101' Island Explorer 3 is available for charter during the months of March through December. Many groups are interested in our full day whale watching trips while others are looking for the great light and scenery of an evening cruise. Either way, a private tour is a great way to spend time with family, friends, and co-workers. We cater to corporate team building, family reunions, birthday parties, dinner cruises, weddings, memorial services, class reunions, and more.

Custom Charters—Perfect for any group!

We can customize a day or evening scenic cruise or a whale watching trip to fit the needs of your group. You may wish to spend the day with the whales, make a stop on an island, circumnavigate Fidalgo Island (passing through La Conner and under Deception Pass Bridge), or some of each! All you have to do is relax, enjoy the scenery with your private party, and let our experienced crew handle everything.

Catering for your group can be completely taken care of by our staff, or you have the option to set up your own catering or organize a ‘pot-luck’ style dinner. We can custom design your food and drink preferences for any occasion.

Island Explorer 3

The Island Explorer 3 is our new flagship vessel. She is USCG certified for 149 people and is 101 feet long. A large, heated main cabin with lots of inside seating and a huge upper viewing deck add a tremendous amount of creature comfort to your experience. It also features a flat screen television, state of the art electronic systems, a research quality hydrophone, and the largest bow pulpit in the industry (great for weddings). The upper and lower decks are full walk-around decks, allowing for ease of movement around the vessel and great wildlife viewing. The Island Explorer 3 provides more speed, comfort, and quality while cruising than any other boat in the industry!

J-Pod arrived in time for this ceremony and stuck around to listen in as this lovely couple as they said their vows.  By all accounts an unforgettable experience.

Thank you so much for hosting and helping to plan the evening whale watching cruise that the Upper Skagit Tribe attended on August 21st, 2002. Everyone I spoke with had a wonderful time and was very excited to have seen so many whales so close. Thank you all for taking such good care of our community members.

Personally, I wish to thank you for making the planning and logistics of the trip easy. Having the punch cards for concessions was simple and effective, and you were very accommodating in getting the billing taken care of. I was also very pleased with the clarity with which you described cruise options and what would likely take place on the various outing choices.

In short, I am impressed with the level of service and quality of experience you offered us. When anyone asks me for information about whale watching cruises, I will certainly send them to you.
